Woody Othello is an MFA candidate at California College of the Arts with a concentration in ceramics. He was awarded a Pentaculum Residency at the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts in 2015 and was a resident at the Armory Arts Center in 2014.
My interests revolve around how aspects of work, productivity and economic pressure can have negative effects on one’s psychological space. This psychic interference is characterized by anxiety, sadness and the banal, it is a state that leaves one hampered in the ability to deal with external tasks or inner contemplation.
